School : With an objective of making the school a model one in all respects, it has an on-line performance reporting system for each student, through internet, enabling the parents / guardians of knowing the progress of their child relaxing at home.
Cherukuri Vidyalayam has evolved a system of holistic education based on the all-round development of the child. The education provided by Cherukuri Vidyalayam treats each child as am individual one and his/her latent potential harnessed and channelised properly.

Class Rooms: Classroom work will be a part of education. In addition to pursuing intellectual advancement, there will be a “DO IT YOURSELF” spirit which will pervade the academic scenario with a judicious blend of artistic vibrancy, a desire to compete and excel in co-curricular activities, cultural events and sports, enabling the students to strike a balance and foster their all-round development with well ventilated classrooms.

Our classroom have an appearance of almost a cinema hall; well furnished with chairs and electric fans and blackboard which can be compared to a screen on the background of which the teacher stands more or less like an actor trying to please his audience by his saucy remarks, pleasant stories etc. He is on the stage and has to play his allotted part very sincerely. Such as actors appear before the huge audience of the students one after the other and if any actor fails in his dramatic performance, the audience gets out of control and raises strange catcalls of all kind, just as happens in theatre.

Teachers: A well qualified and B.ED and efficient staff is supervised by a MANAGING COMMITTEE having persons with vast experience of educational administration and acumen.

Practical Education: There was a time when a notebook and a pencil were sufficient tools for study in a classroom. In today’s world, students need much more to prepare themselves for the job market. The thing that has not changed is the impact a teacher can have on the life and learning of a student. Present education system is not sufficient. It is mainly bases on the theoretical knowledge rather than practical knowledge.

The students play no active role in attainment of knowledge. Things are loaded on his mind which he/ she cannot digest; he/she only crams and therefore they never become they own. Our educational system is just “Filling students head with lot of disjointed facts poured into the heads as into a basket; to be emptied out again in examination hall and empty basket carried out again into the world." This is the reason why a student who succeeds well in his college examination fails miserable in the examination of life.

For all science subjects and subjects involving practicals, with well equipped laboratories and museums with specimen and slides collections have been provided for the students. The students learn by doing themselves all the relevant experiments prescribed in course, to supplement their knowledge.

Practical knowledge , self-reading, information gathering, work experience in school life should be given more importance to bring about a complete and harmonious development of all factors of human personality.

Field Trips:The Exploratorium is the perfect place to spark critical thinking and creative problem solving in students as they experience hundreds of hands-on exhibits, indoors and outdoors, in our spacious bayside setting.

Field trips increase children's knowledge through active practical experience. For adding pragmatism to the topic of study and for increasing student knowledge and understanding of the subject, student field trips are beneficial.

Spoken English Classes: Learning to speak English confidently is nowadays a need. It is no more an issue of status however it is of supreme necessity for a good quality job and to flourish in one’s career. Lots of accomplishments in life are greatly dependent upon the way you conduct yourself with the global customers and delegates, particularly in the international companies. Even in the management jobs the high profile people also require a fluency in English.

Our Cherukuri Vidyalayam conducts special spoken english classes from IVth to Xth classes by SFS academy weekly twice.

Projector Hall: Education and learning is the concern of every parent and ensuring their child has access to the best teaching methods is very important. With advances in technology always constant it is necessary to allow students to become familiar with the various resources available. One of the most popular introductions to the classroom is the projector.

Projectors with LCD displays can be connected to computers in order to present work they have stored on them. This ability to create multimedia presentations can help a student build their communication skills and improve confidence. Not only does this provide new possibilities to the pupils but also allows the teacher to engage students. Studies have proven that a child learns more when they are enjoying the lesson. Using projectors can make a lesson fun by using visual aids such as images and videos and also audio. Projectors can also be connected to an interactive whiteboard screen which creates an even further involvement through touch. So, in our cherukuri vidiyalayam we have well infrastructured projectorhall for both primary and secondary schools.

Health Care: Periodical medical check-ups are necessary for the child’s development. To as certain proper growth and health of the students, a Medical Officer carries out these check-ups at regular intervals. First-aid facilities are always available to the students.

Library And Reading Room: The School has provision for two libraries one each for Junior and Senior sections. Books, magazines, journals, periodicals and news papers are available at appropriate levels to make reading fun. A spacious Reading Room is attached to the library where the students sit and utilize their vacant hours in reading, writing and research. The class Time Table provides a library period to each class once a week. Students are also allowed to borrow books from the library.

Water And Power Supply: The School has pure drinking water for the children, duly tested and approved by the Health Department. It is also equipped with stand - by generators for uninterrupted power supply.

Transport: Transport facility on approved bus routes is available for the students. In each vehicle a teacher ensures the safe boarding and return of every student.
